The Mets have won four games in a row and are playing an exciting form of baseball as of late. Sunday they won against the Brewers and followed that up with a sweep against the defending World Series Champion Giants. For a team who was playing with little to no life just a few weeks ago, they have quickly turned things around and become a fun team to watch.
They are 15-9 in their last 24 games and are building momentum heading into the break. The Mets have proven to be a bunch of gamers, battling out games whether they go 9 or 16 innings. It will be interesting to see if Terry Collins can have this team playing well throughout the second half, which is something this franchise has not seen in quite a while.
With three games left before the all-star break, The Mets look to end the first half on a high note against the NL Central leading Pirates.
